My friend and I made it to Bromont on Friday, just in time for their 10h00 to 14h00 pass.  They really cater well to the skiing public with their numerous specials for weekly and hourly skiing.  It was a busy day being a Friday, the final day of the main Spring Break period in Quebec and also beautiful sunshine. It was a bit frigid early morning but was warming up as the day went on.

It was my friend’s first time at Bromont and he was very impressed by the quality of the installations.  That new detachable 6 person chair with Gondola is really impressive and really moves a lot of people to the top of that mountain, where a beautiful new chalet awaits you.

As always the quality of the grooming was good and the trails held up well to the volume of skiers that day.  It was a hard pack bottom with icy patches with a loose granular machine groomed top coat.  The conditions were fast but with so many people on the hill, caution was advised.

All chairlifts were in operations so we explored them all.  The two main lifts at Versant du Village & Versant du Lac were the two busiest but were still operating quite efficiently.  That new 6 person chair is really fast!

Among our favorite runs of the day were:  Sudbury, Knowlton & New York.  But our two best were definitely Montreal & Sherbrooke, which were in great shape, had great pitch with a great views, can’t beat them!
