I managed to combine work and pleasure on my latest trip to Calgary. I flew my son down to join me and we spent the weekend at Sunshine Village. There is something special about boarding a gondola to reach your accommodations, its like you are sleeping at Middle Earth!
The accommodations were spot on, comfortable and close to the action. I was surprised at the high quality of restaurant options.
Our fist day was in flat light and fog, so not the best conditions but still way better than a day at the office. Now day 2 was a much different story, blue skies with clouds but high visibility to admire the beauty of that resort location. Sunday was great skiing and we skied our hearts out!
