I had worked an enormous number of hours, over the past month so I was due some well-deserved time off., which is what prompted this mid-week getaway! Lucky for me, mother nature decided to give me a break in the temperature as well as a nice fresh dusting of the white stuff.
I immediately knew when I got to the parking lot that this would be a great day. I had one of the first parking spots, oh yeah!
Since the covid rules were relaxed somewhat the week prior, we are now able to change in the building and they allow us to store our stuff inside while we ski, which is great news because I really dislike putting my boots on in the parking lot.
Choosing a Thursday was a great move because I had the hill to myself, never had to wait even once for the chairlift. The ski conditions were wonderful, a pillowtop cover over a hard packed base.
I spent most of my day on Casse-Gueule, Togo, Les Cimes, Chiquita as well as the wonderful glades like Cap romain & Sous-bois, all of which were in fabulous shape all day long.
